About Missy
Sweet Tooth's is owned and operated by Chalandra "Missy" Strickland. On Nov. 14, 2000 with little money and her daughter Za'Tasja's 7th birthday quickly approaching, Missy stumbled upon her talent for the wonderful art of cake decorating. Thanks to her love for reading and her desire to make her daughter happy, Missy baked and decorated a cake of her daughter's favorite character, Spongebob Squarepants!
Since that day, the single mother and then, full-time college student continued to enhance her skills in the art of cake decorating, without any formal training. The wonderful art of cake decorating helped Missy supplement her income and be a better provider.
Now, blessed with a talent, only given by God and armed with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Marketing, a Masters of Business Administration Degree, and a specialization in Human Resource Management, which only God allowed. Missy is in the process of expanding her Sweet Tooth's empire. As well as, showing others, especially children, that we are not defined by our circumstances.
